Privacy

This page covers www.unopacs.com. How the platform handles patient data is a separate matter and is described below.

This website is a set of static pages. It runs no analytics, sets no tracking cookies, embeds no third-party scripts and loads no fonts, maps or videos from other servers. That is not a policy position dressed up as a feature; it is simply how the site is built, and it is why this page is short.

What the website stores on your device

One entry in your browser's local storage, holding whether you chose the light or the dark appearance. It contains no identifier, is never sent to us, and is removed when you clear your browser data. Nothing else is stored.

What your visit leaves on our side

Serving a page produces the usual server log entry: the address requested, the time, the response status, the referring page, and your browser's user agent and IP address. These entries exist to operate and secure the service and are kept only for as long as that requires.

Hosting is provided by a service provider acting on our instruction under a data processing agreement. The provider is named on request; write to us and you get the current answer.

If you request a demo

The demo form asks for your name, your work email address, your organisation, your country, your role and, optionally, your study volume and a description of how images reach you today.

We use it to prepare and hold the conversation you asked for, and to reply to you. We do not sell it, we do not pass it to advertisers, and we do not add you to a mailing list you did not ask for.

We keep it for as long as the enquiry is live and for a reasonable period afterwards, so that we can pick up a conversation you return to. You can ask us to delete it at any time and we will.

Patient data in the platform

Nothing on this website processes patient data. Where a customer runs UnoPACS, we act as a processor on that customer's instruction under a separate data processing agreement, and the imaging data is theirs, not ours.

Where that data is held, how it is encrypted and how you get it back out is set out on our security page at /security. Ask us for the data processing agreement before a demo if your process needs it in advance.

Your rights

You can ask what we hold about you, ask for it to be corrected or deleted, ask for a copy in a portable form, or object to our processing it. Write to us and we will answer.

If you are not satisfied with how we handle it, you can complain to a supervisory authority: in Switzerland the Federal Data Protection and Information Commissioner, or in the EU and EEA the authority in your country of residence.

Changes

This page changes when the website does. The company behind it also publishes a policy covering its wider Swiss offering at https://www.unomed.ch.
